Mission & Goals
CODICI è un associazione di tutela dei diritti dei consumatori a livello nazionale, attraverso azioni legali, campagne di sensibilizzazione e progetti di interesse pubblico. Tutela giuridica CODICI si occupa di avviare ricorsi, esposti e azioni collettive presso i tribunali italiani e, in alcuni casi, anche davanti alla Corte di Giustizia UE. Difesa dei consumatori L’associazione interviene a tutela dei cittadini che subiscono disservizi o ingiustizie, offrendo supporto legale e amministrativo. Azioni collettive e segnalazioni CODICI promuove class action e diffide contro società e istituzioni che adottano comportamenti lesivi per i consumatori Partecipazione a progetti e tavoli istituzionali È attiva su progetti finanziati a livello nazionale e regionale, come programmi di educazione digitale, sicurezza nei pagamenti e diritti dei cittadini nei servizi pubblici essenziali
EU Legislative Interests
We had partecipate on the Consultation on the review of the European Supervisory Authorities (ESAs - EBA, ESMA, EIOPA), Consultation on the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive, Consultation on "good practices" for passenger rights, DG Move and the consultancy STEER, Consultation on CO2 standards for cars, Consultation in the Farm to Fork, Strategy, develop an EU Code of Conduct for responsible business and marketing practice, Consultation on EDPB reccomendations on additional measures for data transfers, consultation on A New Consumer Agenda. As a consumer association affiliated to BEUC https://www.beuc.eu/beuc-network/members/consumatori-italiani-leuropa-cie as member of CIE www.cie-europa.com we have participated to the Citizens' Energy Forum in Dublin on 2018 and 2019, 2020, 2021 (on line) and 2022, and to the European Consumer Summit 2023 2022 2021 2020 2019 2018.
Communication Activities
From our start activities we had participated to 2 projects supported from the EU: 1. https://www.cie-europa.com/copia-di-missione 2. https://www.cie-europa.com/foodsuppads We are working hard to improve our skills in communication and publications fro EU priorities, in Italian and English. We are now working on a project supported from our Minister for the Activities on the circular economy and the green new deal www.consumaconsapevole.com
