Mission & Goals

Der Allgemeine Deutsche Fahrrad-Club e.V. (ADFC) ist mit über 240.000 Mitgliedern die größte Interessenvertretung der Radfahrerinnen und Radfahrer in Deutschland und weltweit. Er berät in allen Fragen rund ums Fahrrad: Recht, Technik und Tourismus. Politisch engagiert sich der ADFC auf regionaler, nationaler und internationaler Ebene für die konsequente Förderung des Radverkehrs. Der ADFC ist parteipolitisch neutral, aber parteilich, wenn es um die Interessen Rad fahrender Menschen geht.Ausgeübte Tätigkeit zum Zweck der Interessenvertretung: Stellungnahmen zu Entwürfen von Gesetzen, Verordnungen und Verwaltungsvorschriften; Beauftragung und Veröffentlichung von Forschungsarbeiten; Ausrichtung von parlamentarischen Abenden; Kommunikation mit Bundestagsabgeordneten, einzeln und in Gruppen wie dem Parlamentskreis Fahrrad; parlamentarische Radtour; Kommunikation mit dem BMDV, z. B. im Bund-Länder-Arbeitskreis Radverkehr (BLAK).
