Global data collection system for ship fuel oil consumption
This procedure establishes a system to collect and report data on the fuel oil consumption of ships. By monitoring how much fuel vessels use, the EU aims to better understand the environmental impact of maritime transport and develop more effective measures to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from shipping.
