Directive on the harmonisation of transparency requirements in relation to information about issuers whose securities are admitted to trading on a regulated market and 2007/14/EC
This procedure aims to update and simplify the rules regarding the information that companies must disclose when their securities are traded on regulated markets. By harmonizing transparency requirements, the EU seeks to make financial markets more efficient and reduce the complexity of reporting for issuers.
The changes primarily affect companies listed on stock exchanges, with a particular focus on reducing administrative burdens for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to make it easier for them to access capital markets.
