Amendment: Directives 2011/61/EU & 2009/65/EC (AIFs & UCITS)
This procedure updates existing EU directives concerning investment funds. It aims to clarify rules on how fund managers can delegate tasks, manage liquidity risks, and report to supervisors. It also addresses depositary services and loan origination by alternative investment funds.
These changes will affect alternative investment funds, UCITS (Undertakings for Collective Investment in Transferable Securities), their managers, depositaries, and investors. The goal is to enhance market transparency and investor protection.
