This Slovak law amends existing legislation concerning the use of genetic technologies and genetically modified organisms (GMOs). It also updates rules for growing genetically modified plants in agricultural production. The changes affect researchers, agricultural producers, and potentially consumers by modifying regulations around GMOs and related technologies within Slovakia.
