Wijziging van de Telecommunicatiewet in verband met de implementatie van richtlijn 2014/30/EU en richtlijn 2014/53/EU
This Dutch bill amends the Telecommunications Act to implement two EU directives: Directive 2014/53/EU on radio equipment and Directive 2014/30/EU on electromagnetic compatibility. These EU rules set requirements for electronic devices that use radio signals and for limiting the electromagnetic interference they cause. The bill brings Dutch law into line with them. This description is based on metadata only, not the full legislative text. The changes mainly affect manufacturers, importers, and sellers of radio-emitting and electronic equipment placed on the Dutch market, as well as the national authorities that supervise compliance. Consumers may benefit from more consistent safety and interference standards for the devices they buy.
