Wijziging van de Elektriciteitswet 1998 en de Wet belastingen op milieugrondslag ter uitvoering van de afbouw van de salderingsregeling voor kleinverbruikers

This amendment modifies the 1998 Electricity Act and the Environmental Tax Act to implement the gradual phase-out of the net metering system. This system previously allowed small-scale electricity producers to offset the energy they fed back into the grid against their total consumption. Small-scale energy consumers with solar panels or other generation sources will see a change in how their electricity bills are calculated as the current offsetting rules are reduced.
