Wijziging van de begrotingsstaat van het Ministerie van Financiën (IXB) voor het jaar 2011 (Incidentele suppletoire begroting EFSF)
This is a Dutch parliamentary procedure amending the 2011 budget of the Ministry of Finance (budget chapter IXB) through an extra supplementary budget. It concerns the Netherlands' contribution to the European Financial Stability Facility (EFSF), the temporary eurozone fund set up in 2010 to lend to euro-area countries in financial difficulty. Based on the title alone, the change relates to funding or guarantees linked to that fund. The procedure mainly affects the Dutch state budget and taxpayers, since it changes how much the Netherlands commits to the EFSF in 2011. It also concerns other eurozone member states that share the fund's risks, and financial markets that depend on the stability of euro-area sovereign debt.
