Vaststelling van de begrotingsstaten van het Ministerie van Sociale Zaken en Werkgelegenheid (XV) voor het jaar 2020
This is the Dutch House of Representatives' procedure for adopting the 2020 budget estimates (begrotingsstaten) of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment (chapter XV). The budget sets out the planned spending and revenue for the ministry's policy areas for that year. Parliamentary approval gives the ministry legal authority to spend the allocated funds. The budget mainly affects the ministry's own programmes, the agencies and bodies it funds, and the people who rely on the policies it covers, such as employment support, social security and labour market initiatives. Citizens and organisations receiving ministry funding are indirectly affected by the final allocations.
