Vaststelling van de begrotingsstaat van het Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken (V) voor het jaar 2018

This is a Dutch parliamentary procedure to adopt the 2018 budget statement (begrotingsstaat) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, marked as part V of the budget. A budget statement sets out the money the ministry may spend in the given year and the policy goals it is meant to serve. Adoption gives the government legal authority to spend these funds. The main parties affected are the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its programmes, along with Dutch diplomatic, development and international cooperation activities funded through it. Taxpayers and the wider public are indirectly affected through how public funds are allocated.
