Vaststelling van de begrotingsstaat van het Ministerie van Buitenlandse Zaken (V) voor het jaar 2017
This is a Dutch parliamentary procedure to adopt the 2017 budget statement (begrotingsstaat) for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, referred to as Budget Chapter V. The budget sets out the planned spending and revenue for the ministry's activities for that calendar year, and the House of Representatives must approve it before the money can be spent. The procedure mainly affects the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its diplomatic, consular and international cooperation work. It also shapes how Dutch taxpayers' money is allocated to foreign policy, development and related programmes in 2017.
