Vaststelling van de begrotingsstaat van het Diergezondheidsfonds voor het jaar 2009
This procedure concerns the formal adoption of the 2009 budget statement (begrotingsstaat) for the Animal Health Fund (Diergezondheidsfonds) in the Netherlands. The Fund finances measures related to animal health, such as disease prevention, monitoring and control of animal diseases, and related administrative costs. The budget statement sets out the planned income and expenditure for that year. The main stakeholders are livestock farmers and the animal sector, who contribute to the Fund, as well as the government agencies responsible for animal health policy. The procedure itself concerns parliamentary approval of the budget rather than new rules for individuals or businesses.
