Vaststelling van de begrotingsstaat van het BES-fonds voor het jaar 2011
This procedure concerns the formal adoption of the budget statement (begrotingsstaat) of the BES fund for 2011, submitted to the Dutch House of Representatives (Tweede Kamer). The BES fund finances public tasks on Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba, the three Caribbean islands that became special municipalities of the Netherlands in 2010. The budget statement sets out the planned income and spending for that year. The budget mainly affects the residents and public administrations of Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba, whose public services are financed through the fund. It also affects Dutch national budget oversight, as Parliament approves the spending plan.
