Jaarverslag en slotwet van Nationale Schuld 2010
This is a Dutch parliamentary procedure concerning the 2010 annual report (jaarverslag) and closing law (slotwet) for the National Debt, handled by the Tweede Kamer, the lower house of the States General. Each year the government reports on how public borrowing was managed and how actual spending compared with what the budget authorised. The closing law formally sets the final figures and gives parliament the chance to approve or reject the government's accounts for the year. The procedure mainly concerns the Dutch government, the Ministry of Finance, and members of the Tweede Kamer who scrutinise public finances. It has no direct effect on individual citizens, but it confirms how the state's debt and related budget outcomes were recorded for 2010.
