Jaarverslag en slotwet van de Koning 2015
This Dutch parliamentary procedure concerns the 2015 annual report (jaarverslag) and the closing budget act (slotwet) of the Kingdom of the Netherlands. The slotwet formally records how the government actually spent money in a given year compared with what the national budget had authorised, and any differences that must be approved after the fact. Parliament's approval closes the budgetary accounts for that year. The procedure mainly affects the national government ministries and the House of Representatives, which must scrutinise and approve the final spending figures. It has no direct effect on individual citizens' taxes or benefits, though it shapes public accountability for how public funds were used in 2015.
