Jaarverslag en slotwet van de Koning 2013
This is a Dutch parliamentary procedure concerning the 'Jaarverslag en slotwet van de Koning 2013', the annual report and closing budget act for the year 2013. Such a law records how the national government actually spent the money approved in the budget for that year, and it is adopted after the year has ended. It allows the House of Representatives to check whether the executive used funds as the budget intended. The procedure mainly affects the Dutch national government, its ministries, and the parliament, which uses it for scrutiny of public spending. Taxpayers are indirectly affected, as the outcome determines whether any budget differences are formally closed off.
