Jaarverslag en slotwet Provinciefonds 2016
This is a Dutch parliamentary budget procedure concerning the 2016 annual report (jaarverslag) and closing act (slotwet) for the Provinciefonds, the fund through which the national government distributes money to the country's twelve provinces. The closing act formally establishes the final figures for what was actually spent in 2016, compared with what was originally budgeted. The procedure mainly affects the Dutch provinces, which rely on the Provinciefonds for a significant share of their general funding. It is primarily a accountability step for the Tweede Kamer, which reviews whether the money was used as approved. This summary is based on metadata only, not the full legislative text.
