Jaarverslag en slotwet Provinciefonds 2011
This is a Dutch parliamentary budget procedure covering the 2011 annual report (jaarverslag) and closing act (slotwet) for the Provinciefonds, the fund through which the national government distributes money to the twelve Dutch provinces. The annual report shows how the fund's money was actually spent and received in 2011, and the closing act formally sets the final budget figures for that year, allowing Parliament to check the accounts against what was approved beforehand. The procedure mainly concerns the national government, the House of Representatives (Tweede Kamer), and the twelve Dutch provinces, which rely on the fund for general spending on their own responsibilities. Residents of the provinces are indirectly affected, since the fund shapes provincial budgets for services under provincial control.
