Jaarverslag en slotwet Ministerie van Volksgezondheid, Welzijn en Sport 2012
This Dutch parliamentary procedure concerns the 2012 annual report (jaarverslag) and closing budget law (slotwet) of the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport. Such documents show how the ministry actually spent its allocated funds in a given year, compared with what the national budget authorised. The Tweede Kamer uses them to check whether public money was spent as intended and to formally close the budget for that year. The main direct stakeholders are the Dutch government, the Ministry of Health, Welfare and Sport, and Members of the Tweede Kamer who scrutinise its finances. Indirectly, the outcome relates to health and welfare programmes funded by the national budget, though this procedure does not itself change any policy or spending rules.
