Jaarverslag en slotwet Ministerie van Veiligheid en Justitie 2011
This is a Dutch parliamentary procedure concerning the 2011 annual report (jaarverslag) and closing budget law (slotwet) of the Ministry of Security and Justice. The closing law formally confirms how the ministry's actual spending compared with the budget that parliament approved for that year, and the annual report explains the results and policy performance. It is a routine accountability step in the national budget cycle. The procedure mainly concerns the Dutch parliament, the government and the ministry's policy areas, which include police, judiciary, prisons, immigration and national security. It does not directly change laws for citizens, but it shows how public funds were used and whether any budget overruns or underspending need to be authorised.
