Jaarverslag en slotwet Ministerie van Onderwijs, Cultuur en Wetenschap 2019

This is the Dutch House of Representatives' procedure on the 2019 annual report (jaarverslag) and closing act (slotwet) of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Science. The annual report shows how the ministry spent its budget and what it achieved, while the closing act formally sets the final budget figures for the year. Parliament uses this review to check whether the money was spent as the budget law intended. The procedure mainly concerns the national government, the ministry's policy areas and the public bodies it funds. Schools, universities, cultural institutions and research organisations are indirectly affected, as their 2019 funding is reflected in the final accounts.
