Jaarverslag en slotwet Ministerie van Financiën en Nationale Schuld 2020
This is a Dutch parliamentary procedure on the annual report (jaarverslag) and the closing budget law (slotwet) of the Ministry of Finance and the National Debt for the 2020 financial year. The annual report shows how the ministry actually spent its allocated funds and what results it achieved, while the closing law formally sets the final figures of the national budget for that year, allowing parliament to approve or reject the government's accounts. The procedure mainly concerns the Dutch government and the House of Representatives (Tweede Kamer), which must scrutinise the accounts. It affects the Ministry of Finance's spending and the management of the national debt, and indirectly taxpayers, since the final budget outcome shapes how public money was used in 2020.
