Jaarverslag en slotwet Ministerie van Defensie 2020

This is the Dutch House of Representatives' procedure on the 2020 annual report (jaarverslag) and closing budget law (slotwet) of the Ministry of Defence. The annual report sets out how the ministry spent its budget and what it achieved, while the closing law formally settles the final budget figures for the year against what Parliament authorised. The procedure mainly concerns Parliament's oversight of public spending. It affects the Ministry of Defence and its budget, and it gives MPs the opportunity to scrutinise whether funds were used as approved. It does not by itself create new rules or change policy.
