Jaarverslag en slotwet Gemeentefonds 2011
This is a Dutch parliamentary budget procedure concerning the annual report (jaarverslag) and closing law (slotwet) for the Gemeentefonds, the central fund through which the national government distributes money to municipalities. The closing law confirms the actual amounts spent or allocated from the fund in 2011, after the year has ended, so that the accounts can be checked against what was budgeted. The procedure mainly concerns the national government and the Tweede Kamer, which must review and approve the final accounts. Dutch municipalities are indirectly affected, since the fund is their main source of general income from national government. Based on metadata only; the full legislative text and figures were not reviewed.
