Jaarverslag en slotwet Deltafonds 2022

This is the Dutch parliamentary procedure on the annual report and closing act (jaarverslag en slotwet) of the Delta Fund for the year 2022. The Delta Fund is a dedicated national budget used to finance flood protection, water safety and freshwater supply in the Netherlands. The closing act sets out the final figures for how the money was actually spent in 2022, so that parliament can check it against what was approved. The procedure mainly concerns the Dutch national government, the House of Representatives (Tweede Kamer) and the bodies responsible for water management, such as Rijkswaterstaat and regional water authorities. Residents in flood-prone areas benefit indirectly from any programmes funded through the Delta Fund.
