Het niet indexeren van het basiskinderbijslagbedrag in de Algemene Kinderbijslagwet per 1 juli 2013
This Dutch parliamentary bill concerns the General Child Benefit Act (Algemene Kinderbijslagwet). It proposes not adjusting (indexing) the basic child benefit amount for inflation or wage changes from 1 July 2013. Indexation normally keeps benefit amounts in line with economic developments, so skipping it means the nominal amount stays unchanged. Parents and guardians receiving Dutch child benefit would be affected, as the monthly payment per child would not rise on the usual schedule. The measure is a budget-related change to national social security rules, based on the title alone.
