This report concerns the approval of two protocols that amend existing international conventions on nuclear energy liability. These conventions establish rules for legal responsibility in case of nuclear accidents. The protocols update the Paris Convention of 1960 and the Brussels Convention of 1963. Approval by the Dutch Parliament will allow the Netherlands to formally adopt these updated international agreements.
