This law establishes a legal framework for setting ecodesign requirements for products that use energy or are related to energy. The goal is to improve the environmental performance of these products throughout their entire lifecycle, reducing waste and energy consumption to support sustainable development. This affects manufacturers and importers of energy-related and energy-using products, who must comply with specific ecological and efficiency standards to sell their goods in the Luxembourgish market.
