Deputy Marie Sherlock asked the Minister for Transport the way in which the new learner permit rules apply to learners who already hold a valid permit when the changes come into effect; the action that will be needed if a learner fails a test shortly before their permit expires and the next available test is after the expiry date; whether EDT completed very recently will have to be repeated; and the way in which RSA cancelled tests are taken into account in these circumstances.
