Deputy Albert Dolan asked the Minister for Children, Disability and Equality whether she will review the 14-working-week statutory limit on the transfer of parental leave between qualifying parents employed by the same employer, having regard to the fact that the overall parental leave entitlement has increased to 26 working weeks; whether the retention of the 14-week limit following the increase in the overall entitlement was an intentional policy decision; and whether she intends to amend section 6(6A) of the Parental Leave Act 1998 to increase this limit.
