Interdiction des mises sous enclos d'animaux sauvages à des fins de chasse
This French National Assembly bill proposes banning the practice of placing wild animals in enclosures so they can be hunted. Such enclosures, often called 'enclos de chasse', confine animals like wild boar or deer in fenced areas where hunters can shoot them with little or no chance of escape. The bill is based on animal welfare and ethical concerns about this form of hunting. If adopted, the ban would affect private hunting estates, operators who run enclosed hunting grounds, and hunters who use them. Animals kept in such enclosures would also be affected by the change in rules.
