Pakendiseadus

This law concerns the regulation of packaging and packaging waste in Estonia. It aims to protect the environment by promoting the reuse, recycling, and recovery of packaging materials, and by reducing the amount of packaging waste generated. The act affects producers, importers, distributors, and consumers of packaged goods. It sets requirements for packaging design, labeling, and waste management, including producer responsibility schemes.
