Member Of
WWF Network Throughout the year, many WWF offices provided WWF EU with their expertise and advocacy support. We are particularly grateful to the 17 network offices which contributed financially to our policy and communications activities and campaigns. This support makes it possible for WWF EU to engage in a broad range of policy and legislative processes and represent the voices and concerns of millions of WWF supporters around Europe and the world. Civil Society WWF EU works with other organisations in various alliances: as a member of the ten biggest EU environmental NGOs in Brussels (Green 10 coalition), the European NGO confederation for relief and development (CONCORD), the Climate Action Network (CAN Europe), the Living Rivers Europe coalition, the European Habitats Forum (EHF), and the Offshore Coalition for Energy and Nature (OCEaN). WWF is also a member of the EU IUU Fishing Coalition. We also contribute to the following organisations: Fédération des Associations Européennes (FAIB), Market Advisory Council, the Coalition for Energy Savings, Renewables Grid Initiative, the Long Distance Advisory Council (LDAC), and the European Environmental Citizens Organisation for Standardisation (ECOS)
Organisation Members
WWF is a global network operating in over 100 countries. Within the EU, WWF has independent offices established under national law in 17 countries. The WWF European Policy Programme acts as the coordinator for EU policy across the WWF network and is established under Belgian law as an AISBL. The majority of WWF’s global activities related to EU policy are reported through the registration of the WWF European Policy Programme. WWF offices in the EU may also engage directly with EU institutions. As these offices are independent legal entities and there is no strict hierarchical relationship between the WWF European Policy Programme and the national offices, WWF has chosen to register all of its offices that engage on EU policy individually in the Transparency Register. This approach ensures full transparency and provides complementary and accurate information across all registrations. For reference, other WWF offices currently registered in the Transparency Register are the following: Världsnaturfonden WWF (WWF Sweden), REG Number: 299330237015-12 WWF Portugal, REG Number: 400884438161-15 WWF Mediterranean (WWF MMI), REG Number: 217676599422-40 Umweltorganisation WWF Central and Eastern Europe (WWF CEE), REG Number: 02019258940-59 Παγκόσμιο Ταμείο για τη Φύση - WWF Ελλάς (WWF Greece), REG Number: 827172316947-35 WWF Deutschland (WWF Germany), REG Number: 031571311716-04 Umweltverband WWF Österreich (WWF Austria), REG Number: 853065895361-95 Asociación para la Defensa de la Naturaleza (WWF Spain), REG Number: 621929318922-12 WWF Adria - Udruga za zaštitu prirode i očuvanje biološke raznolikosti (WWF Adria), REG Number: 733153119242-95 Fundacja WWF Polska (WWF Poland), REG Number: 070652642912-86 World Wide Fund for Nature - Netherlands (WWF Netherlands), REG Number: 552983543802-68 Pasaules dabas fonds (WWF Latvia), REG Number: 6343622100425-09 World Wildlife Fund Italia (WWF Italy), REG Number: 613441393632-29 World Wide Fund for Nature Belgium (WWF Belgium), REG Number: 340103933893-82 Maailman luonnon säätiö - World Wide Fund for Nature, Suomen rahasto sr (WWF Finland), REG Number: 672886338215-53
