WWF is a global network operating in over 100 countries. Within the European Union, WWF has independent offices established under national law in over 17 countries. The WWF European Policy Programme acts as the coordinator for EU policy across the WWF network and is established under Belgian law as an AISBL. The majority of WWF’s global activities related to EU policy are reported through the registration of the WWF European Policy Programme under REG number 1414929419-24. WWF offices in the EU may also engage directly with EU institutions. As these offices are independent legal entities and there is no hierarchical relationship between the WWF European Policy Programme and the national offices, WWF has chosen to register all of its offices individually in the Transparency Register. This approach ensures full transparency and provides complementary and accurate information across all registrations. Any information provided through this registration complements the information submitted under the registration of the WWF European Policy Programme.
