Mission & Goals
Wolt is Helsinki-based technology company that provides an online platform to connect people looking to order restaurant food, groceries, and a wide variety of retail categories with people in their communities interested in selling and delivering them. We call this local commerce. Our service brings convenience to customers, but also creates economic opportunities for local restaurants and retailers selling their goods over our platform and for independent couriers providing services to Wolt. We currently operate in 32 countries (20 of which are EU Member States) and over 1000 cities, serving goods from over 150,000 merchants with over 300,000 courier partners to more than 55 million registered users, and employ more than 13,000 people in our offices across our markets.
EU Legislative Interests
Public policy engagement (e.g. meetings, consultation responses, position papers, event participation) with European Commission and European Parliament representatives on policies and legislative initiatives impacting technology platforms in areas such as competition, employment, internal market, platform regulation, digital services, payments, consumers, privacy, and taxation.
