Mission & Goals
Tallano Technologies is a French engineering company focused on solving the issue of brake particle emissions (dust - both PM10 and PM2.5). We have created a system called TAMIC, which vacuums dust directly from source and can be applied to all forms of vehicles – from light to heavy-duty, and even trains. We have worked exclusively on this technology for the past 10 years. We are proudly European and have 31 patent applications extended in 12 countries. Our technology can lead to a reduction of up to 80% in brake emissions, and when including complementary solutions, can lead to an overall 90% reduction in brake emissions. Our licensing model provides for swift adoption and uptake of the technology in vehicles across Europe.
EU Legislative Interests
Euro 7: "Type-approval of motor vehicles and engines and of systems, components and separate technical units intended for such vehicles, with respect to their emissions and battery durability (Euro 7) and repealing Regulations (EC) No 715/2007 and (EC) No 595/2009" Ambient Air Quality Directive Green Deal initiatives related to air quality & mobility (e.g. Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy)
Communication Activities
In the past we have run a pan-European poll on the issue of air quality and we shared the results with policymakers via email. We have sent model representations of our technology to policymakers. Since the publication of Euro7 reglementation, in 2024 we have had no further contacts with official EU representatives and bodies. In 2025, our CEO has met the DG GROW, the DG MOVE, the DG ENVI and cabinet executive vice-president Stéphane Séjourné.
