Mission & Goals
Het Nederlands Letterenfonds is het publieke fonds voor literatuur in het Nederlands, Fries, Papiaments en Nederlandse Gebarentaal. Het Letterenfonds is één van de zes door het Rijk gefinancierde cultuurfondsen. Het fonds wil bijdragen aan een belezen, intelligente en creatieve samenleving waarin de rol van de letteren, van schrijvers en vertalers, wordt erkend en gewaardeerd.

Organisation Members
Het Nederlands Letterenfonds is het publieke fonds voor literatuur in het Nederlands, Fries, Papiaments en Nederlandse Gebarentaal. Het Letterenfonds is één van de zes door het Rijk gefinancierde cultuurfondsen. https://www.letterenfonds.nl/over-het-fonds De Stichting Nederlands Letterenfonds voert met publiek geld een publieke taak uit. Los daarvan draagt het Letterenfonds verantwoordelijkheid voor twee stichtingen die privaat geld beheren: de Stichting Steunfonds Stimulering Nederlandse Literatuur (Steunfonds) en het Bert Schierbeekfonds (BSF). De directeur-bestuurder van het Letterenfonds en de leden van de Raad van Toezicht zijn ambtshalve tevens directeur- bestuurder respectievelijk lid van de Raad van Toezicht van deze twee stichtingen.
