IBERTEST es un fabricante de sistemas de ensayo de materiales y componentes para el ferrocarril y otros sectores, con más de 55 años de experiencia. Desarrollo y ejecución de proyectos llave en mano en el ambito de los laboratorios de control, homologacion e investigacion de materiales y componentes.
EU Legislative Interests
Our organisation is not engaged in broad lobbying on general transport matters. Our interest representation activities in relation to EU institutions are limited and project-specific. They concern the promotion of cooperation opportunities related to railway testing, quality control, safety, interoperability, research and industrial capabilities in the framework of EU external investment and sustainable transport initiatives. - Joint Communication to the European Parliament, the Council, the European Economic and Social Committee, the Committee of the Regions and the European Investment Bank: “The Global Gateway” (JOIN(2021) 30 final) - Communication from the Commission: “Sustainable and Smart Mobility Strategy – putting European transport on track for the future” (COM(2020) 789 final) - Directive (EU) 2016/797 on the interoperability of the rail system within the European Union - Directive (EU) 2016/798 on railway safety
Communication Activities
Participation in institutional and business events related to EU external investment and sustainable transport policies, including the Global Gateway Forum in Hanoi. Preparation and sharing of technical presentations, project briefs, corporate materials and explanatory documentation concerning railway testing, quality control, interoperability, safety and research capabilities. Meetings and exchanges with EU institutions, business associations and public stakeholders in relation to cooperation opportunities on railway infrastructure, testing facilities and quality assurance frameworks aligned with EU transport and investment policies.
