Mission & Goals
RTF Ltd represents the interest of a number of global manufacturers of Resorcinol (RTF stand for Resorcinol Task Force). RTF retains responsibility for all technical & regulatory activity relating to Substance Evaluation of resorcinol, CLH processes and any other regulatory process involving Resorcinol. RTF is a significant data holder of scientific information on Resorcinol. The Resorcinol Tak Force is composed by some of the major manufacturer of Resorcinol outside of Europe. While the membership changed over time, the task force is currently composed by 3 companies: Amino-Chem (HK) Co., Ltd (Room 2503 9 Chong Yip Street, Kwun Toong KL, Hong Kong, China). ATUL Limited (Atul, 396020, Valsad, Gujarat, India) Sumitomo Chemicals Company Limited (Tokyo Nihombashi Tower, 2-7-1, Nihombashi, Chuo-ku, Tokyo, Japan)

RTF Ltd is a non-profit company established in the UK with the aim to facilitate the financial and organisational management of the Resorcinol Task Force. RTF Limited was established by Paul Ashford, its current director when his former company Caleb (UK based) was acting as consortium manager for the RTF and its membership. RTF Limited has acted, and is still acting, as contractor for scientific studies on behalf of the RTF members, currently act as a data holder on behalf of the members and contracts any service required by the RTF members in relation to regulatory and advocacy activities on resorcinol. In 2014, Paul Ashford's company was acquired by Anthesis, RTF Ltd was not part of the acquisition and continued to carry on its activity as a contracting vehicle for the activities of the Resorcinol Task Force. Since RTF Limited does not have any direct employees, Anthesis personnel like Paul Ahsford and myself act as a contractor on behalf of RTF ltd, this is the reason why anthesisgroup email addresses are used in conjunction with RTF Ltd activities. Anthesis Group is a contractor of RTF Ltd. To answer question 10 on the “Number of persons involved from your organisation expressed in % of working time”, I considered the time that Paul Ashford and I work on CLH-related activities on resorcinol, over the total of our time spent on activities related to RTF Ltd, because RTF Ltd does not have direct employees.
