Mission & Goals
Riverse operates Rainbow, an international carbon credit certification programme dedicated to high-integrity carbon removal and avoidance projects. Rainbow develops and publishes methodologies (biochar, BiCRS, BioCCS, biobased construction materials, biogas, mineralisation, enhanced rock weathering and others), certifies projects against those methodologies, and issues carbon credits on the Rainbow Registry with rigorous digital MRV. Rainbow is aligned with the EU Carbon Removals and Carbon Farming Framework (CRCF) and is pursuing Core Carbon Principles (CCP) approval from the ICVCM. Our mission is to scale credible, science-based carbon removals by providing a transparent, digital-first certification infrastructure that is trusted by project developers, buyers, regulators and civil society.
