Mission & Goals

The Post-Platforms Foundation, a Dutch non-profit organization, is dedicated to the development of the Web 3.0 Data Space ecosystem – an innovative vision for the future Internet. This initiative aims to empower individuals and companies by reclaiming control over their data from dominant platforms, breaking free from platform monopolies, and introducing advanced services such as IPR control, a unified e-passport, economic inclusivity, e-reputation, e-voting, e-money, and long-term data preservation in the Internet for centuries.

EU Legislative Interests

We are concerned only with the development of European Data Space, as after many years of development we clearly see no progress. We have assembled the best knowledge in Data Space and we would like to suggest to involve European businesses (actually all of them) and address things which are of interest for ALL businesses and ALL citizens, specifically: Vendor lock-in and monopoly of (mostly American) platforms, data silos issue (numerous data copies), reputation, IPR control, fake news control, long-term data preservation, persistent identifiers, one-key-for all services for citizens, eVoting, eMoney, etc. This is not about policies or legislative proposals. This is about cutting up to 20% costs for European businesses, about monopolies of platforms, about making Europe competitive and about development of participative democracy.
