Mission & Goals
PAL Network ASBL is a European non‑profit network committed to promoting equality, social inclusion and anti‑discrimination, with a strong focus on young people and vulnerable groups. The organisation works at the intersection of youth policy, education, employment and social justice, aiming to reduce structural inequalities and support meaningful participation in society. PAL Network’s remit includes the development and implementation of evidence‑based initiatives, research, training and policy advocacy in the areas of non‑formal and informal learning, youth employability, career guidance, entrepreneurship, digital and civic skills, mental well‑being, and human rights. Particular attention is given to Roma youth, LGBTQIA+ youth, migrants, refugees and other young people with fewer opportunities. Communication Activities
PAL Network ASBL undertakes a wide range of communication, dissemination and awareness‑raising activities to support and promote EU youth, equality and inclusion policies. These activities are designed to engage young people, youth workers, civil society organisations and policymakers, with particular attention to Roma youth and other young people with fewer opportunities. Key communication actions include: Thematic events and workshops at local, national and European level addressing youth participation, anti‑discrimination, social inclusion, employability, mental well‑being and non‑formal education, in line with the EU Youth Strategy and the Roma Strategic Framework. Awareness‑raising campaigns (online and offline) focusing on combating anti‑Gypsyism, promoting diversity, equality and human rights, and amplifying the voices of marginalised young people. Publications and outputs such as policy papers, guidelines, research reports, training toolkits and educational resources developed through EU‑funded projects (Erasmus+, CERV and related programmes). Youth‑friendly communication materials, including digital content, infographics, videos and social media campaigns, to make EU policies and opportunities more accessible and understandable for young people. Conferences, multiplier events and public debates bringing together young people, youth workers, experts and policymakers to exchange good practices and discuss policy implementation and impact. Dissemination through European networks and partnerships, using newsletters, websites and social media channels to share project results, good practices and policy recommendations. Through these communication activities, PAL Network contributes to bridging the gap between EU policy frameworks and lived realities, supporting informed participation, policy dialogue and the effective implementation of EU youth, equality and inclusion policies.

PAL Network ASBL is an active participant in European cooperation networks and project‑based partnerships, working closely with civil society organisations, youth organisations, research bodies and public institutions across the EU and neighbouring countries. While not all cooperation takes the form of formal membership, the organisation is regularly affiliated through EU‑funded projects, thematic networks and strategic partnerships. PAL Network is affiliated with and/or cooperates through: European youth and civil society project consortia, primarily under the Erasmus+ and CERV programmes, cooperating with youth organisations, NGOs, education and training providers, local authorities and research institutions across multiple EU Member States. European anti‑discrimination, equality and social inclusion networks, through joint actions and partnerships focusing on Roma inclusion, anti‑Gypsyism, LGBTQIA+ inclusion, human rights and social justice. Youth work and non‑formal education networks, contributing to exchanges of practice, capacity‑building activities and policy dialogue at European level. Policy‑oriented and thematic platforms related to youth participation, mental health and well‑being, employability, social economy and civic engagement, mainly through EU‑supported projects and stakeholder forums. Transnational partnerships with Roma‑focused and minority‑rights organisations, supporting inclusion, participation and cultural dialogue in line with the EU Strategic Framework for Roma Equality, Inclusion and Participation. Additional Information
All EU‑funded grants received by the organisation are earmarked, activity‑based and linked exclusively to international cooperation projects and policy‑related actions, such as research, education, youth participation, capacity building, dissemination and awareness‑raising activities at European level. They are implemented in accordance with EU funding rules and do not finance lobbying, representation services, or general operating costs. The organisation acts in a non‑profit, public‑interest capacity, with full respect for EU transparency, financial accountability and ethical standards.
