Mission & Goals
Het behartigen van de belangen van Nederlandse handelaren in consumptie- en pootaardappelen, voornamelijk op nationaal niveau en in sommige gevallen op Europees niveau. De NAO is ook lid van de Europese Vereniging van Aardappelhandel (Europatat).
EU Legislative Interests
Wetgeving op het gebied van fyto, plantgezondheid, plantaardig materiaal, export, PRM en Brexit. en de concept wetgeving voor Plant Reproductive Material.
Communication Activities
Input geven aan of via Europatat en Copa Cogeca aan Europese dossiers, zoals fyto en plant health. En door een directe reactie aan de Europese Commissie via Have you says.

We hebben ongeveer 125 Nederlandse leden. Zo'n 100 procent van de pootgoedhandel is lid. Het percentage voor de handel in consumptieaardappelen is lager. www.nao.nl
