Mission & Goals
Az MGYOSZ országos gazdasági, munkaadói szövetség, amelynek célja olyan érdekképviseleti és érdekérvényesítő tevékenység ellátása, mely a gazdasági és munkaadói érdekek megvalósulását segíti és megteremti a Magyarországon működő tőke képviseletét is. A szövetség önkéntes társulással szerveződik. Az MGYOSZ meghatározó szereplője a tripartit érdekegyeztetésnek. A Szövetség egyik legfontosabb célkitűzése a magyar gazdaság, versenyszféra szereplői közül a legszélesebb tagsági kör kialakítása és ennek révén egy kiterjedt és hiteles információs bázison alapuló professzionális érdekképviseleti munka megteremtése.
EU Legislative Interests
MGYOSZ primarily contributes to EU-level policy discussions indirectly through its membership in BusinessEurope, particularly in the framework of European social dialogue and employer coordination. The organisation does not engage in direct lobbying activities towards EU institutions, but participates in shaping positions that may relate to the following EU legislative initiatives and policy frameworks: Directive on adequate minimum wages in the European Union Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD) Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) Fit for 55 package (including relevant climate and energy legislation) European Green Deal initiatives affecting industry and labour markets Artificial Intelligence Act European Semester process (country-specific recommendations) These topics arise mainly in the context of social dialogue, labour market policy, and business environment discussions rather than direct lobbying activities.
Communication Activities
MGYOSZ carries out limited communication activities related to EU policies, primarily aimed at informing its members and stakeholders. These include occasional events, workshops, and publications addressing EU-level developments in areas such as labour market policy, social dialogue, sustainability, and the business environment. These activities are not lobbying campaigns but serve information-sharing and capacity-building purposes, often in coordination with BusinessEurope and within the framework of European social dialogue.

A Szövetség alapszabályának megfelelően tagjaink között közvetlen tagsággal rendelkező vállalkozások illetve szakmai szövetségek és regionális, megyei szervezetek találhatók.
