Mission & Goals
MQI is a national service operating in Ireland, providing a range of drug, health and homelessness services. Our Vision is for an inclusive society that supports the integration and wellbeing of all and its purpose is to promote health, reduce the harm caused by addiction and homelessness and support recovery. The goals contained in our Strategic Plan include: To delivery high impact, high quality services; To play a leading role in influencing policy makers and the public; To ensure the organisation has the capacity, skills and knowledge to deliver our strategic goals; To develop a funding strategy to ensure our sustainability and support our future direction. Within these goals. the priorities include the development and enhancement of the range and reach of services which respond to the needs of our service users and the community and building the organisation's capacity through research, innovation, collaboration, advocacy and engagement.
EU Legislative Interests
To support drugs policy formulation and implementation through advice. Contributing to the evaluation of the EU Drug Strategy and its Action Plan on Drugs, evaluation of the EMCDDA and input to international drugs policy efforts on the EU agenda and Action Plan on Drugs.
Communication Activities
As a member of the Civil Society on Drugs, the representative of the organisation will attend meetings, contribute to discussions in the group, examine and provide documents under discussion.

MQI received 29 donations totalling €1,263,718 and a further ten donations of €10,000. Of these donations none were 10% or higher of our fundraised income in 2024.
