Mission & Goals
The Japan Association of Corporate Executives (Keizai Doyukai) is an independent, non-profit, private economic organization composed of corporate executives in Japan. Its membership consists of corporate executives who participate in an individual capacity, independent of the interests of their respective companies or industries, Its mission is to contribute to the sustainable development of the Japanese and global economy by promoting responsible corporate leadership and public policy dialogue. The Association conducts research, formulates policy proposals, and engages in constructive discussions with governments, international organizations, and stakeholders, including in the European Union. Keizai Doyukai operates from a public-interest perspective, encouraging its members to act as responsible leaders addressing economic and societal challenges such as climate change, digital transformation, and inclusive growth.

The amount indicated above is an estimate primarily covering occasional travel expenses of the Association’s full-time staff related to travel between Japan and Europe. Such activities are not carried out on a regular basis. The Association does not maintain a permanent presence or continuous engagement with EU institutions. Accordingly, under normal circumstances, the costs associated with these activities remain very limited.
