Mission & Goals
Passport Reader provides infrastructure for verifying government-issued identity documents and digital credentials in line with high-assurance identity standards. We enable organisations to validate identity data integrity and authenticity using cryptographic verification methods, supporting use cases aligned with eIDAS 2.0 and the European Digital Identity Wallet ecosystem. Our remit is to help businesses integrate secure, privacy-preserving identity verification into digital services, reducing fraud and enabling trusted cross-border interactions.

The organisation has not carried out communication activities (events, campaigns, publications, etc.) related to EU policy areas in recent years and is not currently planning such activities. The organisation’s activities are currently limited to product development and commercial operations.
