Mission & Goals
The Global Honey Integrity Council (GHIC) is an international initiative under establishment dedicated to combating honey adulteration and strengthening transparency, authenticity and fairness in the global honey market. GHIC develops and coordinates operational measures, including investigations, evidence generation, industry standards, and cooperation with authorities, to support enforcement of existing legislation and improve market integrity across the European Union and internationally.

Communication Activities
GHIC conducts targeted outreach to Members of the European Parliament, the European Commission and relevant stakeholders through bilateral meetings, expert briefings, and participation in public policy events. In addition, GHIC contributes to conferences, prepares analytical materials, and supports awareness-raising activities addressing honey adulteration and market integrity.
