Mission & Goals

The E-liability Institute, Inc. (doing business as the E-ledgers Institute) is a nonprofit learning organization focused on improving emissions accounting to support decarbonization and energy efficiency. Its founders created the E-ledgers method, which enables accurate, real-time tracking of carbon emissions across complex supply chains. This helps managers, investors, and customers make better, more informed decisions. The Institute aims to build a global ecosystem for transparent, rigorous emissions accounting that promotes fair competition and energy innovation. It works with organizations across business, government, and nonprofits to pilot the method, share insights, and develop best-practice standards. Funded by philanthropy, the Institute offers its services for free and has no commercial interest in promoting the method.

EU Legislative Interests
